Phoenix Insurance PLC Reviews H1 Performance and Sets Future Direction

Phoenix Insurance PLC held its half-yearly business review meeting July 25th, 2026, at the company's head office. The meeting reviewed the company's business performance over the past six months and outlined the goals for the remainder of the year. The meeting was attended as Chief Guest by the Company Adviser, Lt. General (Retd.) Sajjadul Haque . Also present were Director Mohammed Haider Ali and Chief Executive Officer Md. Rafiqur Rahman . The event was further attended by the company's Heads of Department, Heads of Branches, and members of the Marketing team. The discussion centred primarily on the company's overall business performance over the past six months. Speakers noted that 50 percent of the annual target has already been achieved, a positive indicator of the company's continued growth momentum. The meeting also discussed the company's plan to achieve its target of BDT 120 crore for the current year. Speakers emphasised the need to make branch-level operations more dynamic, strengthen marketing strategies, and ensure coordinated efforts across all departments to achieve the target. In his remarks, the Chief Guest praised the dedication and hard work of the employees and urged everyone to play a more active role in achieving the target for the rest of the year. As part of future plans, the meeting also highlighted the company's initiatives toward AI implementation and website upgrades across its operations. Speakers noted that these technology-driven initiatives will play an important role in enhancing customer service quality, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening the company's overall competitiveness.
